Captain Sean Signore

Sean grew up fishing and duck hunting the Potomac and Shenandoah Rivers as well as hunting white-tailed deer, turkey and bear in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia.  At age 4, his passion for the outdoors was induced by his Father whoUnknown took him fishing and hunting as much as he could.  If his Father was too busy running the family business, Sean would be found down at the local creek catching fish and snakes.

Over the last 38 years, Sean has had many opportunities to fish and hunt all over the nation and parts of Canada. From hunting hogs in Tennessee, to Bear hunting in Alberta Canada or deep sea fishing out of Oregon Inlet NC and fly fishing for salmon, stealhead, & brown trout in upstate NY.  He has always looked forward to the next chance to get out and enjoy his passion for the outdoors.

Sean started a family in ‘2000 when son Cody was born, one of his proudest accomplishments.  Sean has always focused on teaching Cody how to shoot, hunt and fish.  “I find myself wanting to help others enjoy my passion as Cody and I do”, says Sean.

In 2007,  Sean’s parents moved to West Central Florida and when he came to visit he discovered what his life had been missing.  The inshore flats fishing along the Gulf of Mexico made an overwhelming impression on him and he knew right then what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.  After visiting his parents frequently and dragging his family and father out on the Gulf for guided fishing trips or just plain family fun on the water, Sean decided it was time to put his dream of becoming a Professional Guide in motion.

Now, Sean and his family are living in the Tampa Bay area.  Sean has obtained his Captain’s license and has been fishing all over Tampa Bay, Apollo Beach, St. Josephs sound, around Palm Harbor and Dunedin.  “I look forward to fulfilling those dreams of others who want a fun and exciting day on the flats catching fish and making memories” .

Chuck Echenique

Chuck Echenique is a Florida native and life-long outdoorsman. His hunting obsession started as a little boy when he began accompanying his dad afield. “I’m so crazy about hunting, my wife and I scheduled our wedding date so as not to interfere with any hunting season,” says Chuck.

Unknown-1In 1994, Chuck started guiding Osceola turkey hunts near his home in Central Florida and soon after, began making his own duck and turkey calls. He owns Rebel Yelp Outfitters and Calls and professionally guides duck, turkey and alligator hunts across the state. He makes hand crafted turkey and duck calls and has been featured as a recurring guest host on Kids Hooked on the Outdoors Television with his daughters Elizabeth (age 13) and Emma (age 9), and his wife Maria. Chuck also co-hosts a web-based television show called Backwater Outdoors with Johnny D.

At 39 years of age, Chuck already has more than 30 years experience afield, and over 15 years as a professional hunting guide. Chuck is a featured staff writer for Woods N’ Water Magazine and is a current board member and past president of both his local DU and NWTF chapters, and active with RMEF, QU, SCI, NRA and United Waterfowlers-Florida. He holds a seat on the Deer Management Technical Advisory Board to the Florida Wildlife Commission as a representative of commercial hunting guides and Florida’s west coast hunters’ interests across the state. He volunteers his services and products to charities such as Buck Masters American Deer Foundation and the Catch-A-Dream Foundation and believes in giving back to his community through leading by example.

“When you live for the outdoors and this way of life, you better be willing to put your time in to educating and recruiting kids and new hunters. After all, they are the future of our sport and the only way to ensure we preserve our hunting heritage for generations to come.” As both a professional guide and hunter’s education instructor he tries to impart the experience and knowledge he’s gained over his many years afield.
