A local to the Asheville area, Paul grew up fishing for bass on stream-fed mountain lakes around Western North Carolina. His fishing obsession started at age 4 fishing on Florida’s coast and after moving to North Carolina at age 6, he became hooked on bass fishing and fly fishing for trout. Paul has extensive knowledge about fishing mountain lakes and the rivers that run into them. Paul holds his Coastal Guard Captains license, which enables Paul to provide fun and safe boating trips; including fishing trips for bass, lake trout and other species.
Born and raised in the mountains, Fishing Camp Instructor and women’s guide, Kacie has been fishing for trout and smallmouth bass since she was very young. Her love for wild trout and other native species has consumed her time, over the years, to make fishing her number one priority…along with long-distance running, Appalachia writing and running a photography business called Roots and Rivers Photography. Kacie fully understands river levels, water temperature, entomology and how the fish behave all times of the year, which makes Kacie an excellent angler.
