An Ohio man, Derrick Marcum, was caught stealing $1,300 of equipment from a Walmart in Forest Park, Ohio. He had stuffed two backpacks full of gear and was caught trying to leave the store.

Now, this gave officers a lead on another unsolved robbery at a different Walmart a day prior. That thief had filled 5 storage bins full of fishing gear, went to a self checkout isle, and paid for just the bins. He walked out with $2,500 worth of stuff. The county Prosecutor said he “pretty much cleaned out the isle.”

Sounds familiar?

Luckily, he got greedy and went to another Walmart and tried it again. This time he got busted, and is now charged for both robberies.
